In 2016, I passed my Level 3 BTEC Beauty Therapy course. I completed 70 hours of work experience for two years as part of the course at a local Hotel Spa. During this time, I got the opportunity to learn the basic routine of a therapist, trained with ESPA products and acquired fundamental product knowledge. In addition, I carried out a few Level 2 treatments, such as gel manicures and observed facial and massage methods. Once I had received my certificates, I became a full-time ESPA therapist at the hotel spa and stayed with them for just under a year. I then left to visit family and travel in Brazil. This February I joined the team at the Courtyard. Since joining I have been on many Clarins training courses and have learnt various new skills and techniques. I really enjoy carrying out the more holistic treatments such as hot stone massage and facials. For me, the best part of the job is building a relationship with my clients and helping them to get the results they’re looking for.
