In 2010 I started a 2 year BTEC National Diploma course in Beauty Sciences at BCOT. Whilst attending my course I completed work experience at two local beauty salons, this lead to my first job in the industry. I worked there for a year, alongside college, carrying out reception duties and a variety of treatments. In 2012, after completing my qualification, I helped to set up The Courtyard and joined the team as a full time therapist. Over the years I have progressed to senior therapist and taken part in various training courses to learn new treatments, including an Amethyst Trust cancer specialist course. My favourite treatments are Clarins facials, gel manicures and eyelash extensions but I enjoy all aspects of my job. I love meeting new clients and seeing my regular clients who I have built a good relationship with over the years.
